Token Mint is an independent organization with the mission to truly democratize value transfer between people and businesses in Africa. Our goal is to facilitate easy and speedy cross-border transactions and increase the scope of trading across the continent. We believe that by doing this, we can facilitate economic freedom and opportunities for Africans.
We are made up of businesses, traders, developers and other stakeholders who believe in the ability of the blockchain to transform value transfer in Africa.
Our Philosophy
Open Source: We are fostering an open-source community where developers all over the world can contribute to the development, growth and implementation of NGNT.
Decentralized & Independent: Token Mint is an independent organization set up solely to manage NGNT. It is made up of different stakeholders in the digital currency space who have an interest in fostering the adoption and growth of NGNT. Token Mint will provide the support, governance and ongoing R&D for the project.
Transparent: NGNT is verifiably backed 1:1 by the Naira in independently audited bank accounts. An attestation of these Naira bank balances is published monthly and publicly accessible on the NGNT Site.
